MAC Practical Nursing Students Graduate

PARK HILLS – Mineral Area College graduates of the community college’s 57th class of the Practical Nursing Program participated in ceremonies on July 28 at the community college’s Fine Arts Theater in Park Hills.

Graduating students included:

McKinsey S. Amonette, Farmington; Douglas R. Anderson, Park Hills; Julianne Brown, Republic, WA; Adrianna R. Campbell, Ironton; Hope L. Engel, De Soto; Sissy R. Gallaher, Arcadia; Amy B. Grebe, Bismarck; Jennifer G. Hamlin, Fredericktown; Kara M. Harrison, Irondale; Rachel L. Hasty, Bonne Terre; Shyann N. Jines, Dexter; Holly N. Johnson, Park Hills; Shania Lincoln, Marble Hill; Kristi Malady, Park Hills; Elisha E. Morrison, Perryville; Alexandra R. Reando, DeSoto; Mia Reynolds, Perryville; Tiffany Thompson, Park Hills; Andrea M. VarVera, Farmington; Michaela P. Williams, Irondale; Catrina A. Yancey, Fredericktown.

Class officers for the Practical Nursing Program’s 57th graduating class included: Douglas R. Anderson, president; Michaela P. Williams, vice president; Kristi Malady, secretary; Shyann N. Jines, treasurer; Jennifer G. Hamlin, assistant treasurer.

Mineral Area College Practical Nursing Program Coordinator Pam Junge, RN, BSN, welcomed the graduates, their families and friends, while Dr. Diana Stuart, Arts & Sciences dean, recognized guests and conferred graduation certificates. In addition to Junge, faculty members Jayne Mahnken, RN, BSN; Sadonya Suttles, MSN, RN; and Paula Thompson, RN, BSN, presented pins to the graduates. David Wright of Three Rivers Baptist Church gave the invocation.
