(2/11/20)  Mizzou Open results. 

The Mineral Area Track teams competed in the Mizzou Open Invitational  hosted by the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri on Friday February 7th.  The University’s Hearnes Center Indoor Track Complex played host to 10 schools, of which 6 were NCAA Division 1 teams.  Top performances from the MAC squad came from freshman Jake Casey who lowered his best time in the 60 meter dash to 7.31, which placed him 9th, and from freshman Donovan Denslow who placed 5th in the mile and 3rd in the 3000 meter run.    Complete Mineral Area results at the Mizzou Meet were:

(2/4/20) MINERAL AREA COLLEGE TRACK RESULTS

PRINCIPIA COLLEGE RELAYS

WYATT ELLIOTT RAN OUTDOOR NATIONAL QUALIFYING TIME!!!

 

The Mineral Area Track teams competed in the Principia Relays hosted by Principia College on Friday evening January 31st.  Several Mac runners hit personal best times for their events at the 12 team indoor meet.  Highlighting the performances for the Cardinals was an NJCAA Division III National Outdoor Meet qualifying time in the 5,000 meter run by freshman Wyatt Elliott.  Wyatt’s time of 16:50.94 beat the qualifying standard of 16:53, which also placed him third overall in the race at Principia. Freshmen Bryce Mings-17:31.59 (9th), Dylan Cisne-17:31.90 (10th), and Alex Ahrens-18:09.15 (14th) all set personal best marks in the 5,000 meter race in addition to Elliott’s performance.  Complete Mineral Area results at Principia were:

(12/11/19).  MAC participates in indoor event. The Mineral Area College Track teams had two individuals compete in the Missouri Holiday Indoor Track Opener in Columbia, Missouri on Friday, December 6th. Freshmen Jake Casey and Cole Ziegler got their first taste of college indoor racing with the following results.

(1/28/20)  Indoor Track competes in Snowbird Invitational. 

The Mineral Area College Track teams participated in their first meet of the 2020 season with competition at the Snow Bird Invitational in Jacksonville, Illinois. Illinois College played host to 12 schools this past Saturday, January 25th, with the Running Cardinals posting several impressive performances. Top effort for MAC came from freshman Donovan Denslow as he completed the mile run in a time of 4:45.85, good for 5th place overall in a field of 31 runners.
