Mineral Area College offers an Associate of Arts (AA) degree at MAC Cape Girardeau. This transferable degree parallels the work done in the first two years of a four-year institution. Advanced Placement LPN to RN in Cape Girardeau
Mineral Area College partners with Saint Francis Medical Center to provide the advanced placement LPN to RN program in Cape Girardeau.
Students attend synchronous Zoom lectures streamed from MAC's main campus with simulation lab work and skills check-offs done on-site in Cape Girardeau. Students also have the opportunity to apply for participation in the Academic/Employer Partnership to begin working at SFMC before graduation.

Students must fulfill A+ program requirements at the high school before applying for grants.
