College Advising and Registration Day for Students

Welcome to Mineral Area College!

C.A.R.D.S. is a required orientation for freshman or transfer students with less than 12 non-dual credit college semester hours earned. C.A.R.D.S. provides valuable information regarding student services, financial aid, billing, housing and more to make your experience at MAC as easy and stress free as possible.

C.A.R.D.S. is a free orientation that can be completed online in the convenience of your home. You can register and access the course by logging into your MyMAC account and clicking on CARDS orientation under Quick Links.

What are the benefits of C.A.R.D.S.?

  • Become familiar with logging into and navigating MyMAC.
    • MyMAC is used for:
      • Submitting assignments
      • Course discussions
      • Completing course quiz and tests
      • Checking grades
      • Registering for classes
      • Submitting forms to Student Services, including registration and financial aid documents
      • Accessing transcripts and much more
  • Learn about services and resources available at MAC.
  • Learn about Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and how to approve access to protected educational records.
  • Learn about financial aid regulations and processes, along with important financial aid resources.
  • Learn how to verify their degree, major and advisor information.
