MAC Esports

Launched in Spring 2022, the mission of the Mineral Area College Esports Program is to unite the gaming community at MAC in a comfortable environment and to support the development of collegiate Esports.

Mineral Area College is a member of NJCAAE, which is the only national Esports association exclusively for two-year colleges.

Current Games

MAC Esports is currently competing in:

  • Rocket League
  • Super Smash Bros Ultimate
  • Call of Duty Warzone
  • Fortnite

Looking Forward

We are looking to add more titles and teams for:

  • Overwatch 2
  • Halo Infinite
  • Valorant
  • Mario Kart

Esports is competitive gaming using video games on various platforms, most often in the form of organized, multiplayer competitions. An esports program consists of several teams participating in specific game titles. Players usually focus on only one game but can play additional titles depending on skill and schedule.

In order to be eligible to try out for the Mineral Area College Esports team you must be:

Enrolled full-time at MAC (12 credit hours) and have a GPA of 2.0.
