• Learn fiber optic basics, OSHA 10 training, fiber optic networks and components, installation and testing, fiber cable types, as well as what structured cabling is and how it is used.

• Students will be able to take the CFOT (Certified Fiber Optic Technician) test to become certified by FOA (The Fiber Optic Association) as a fiber optic technician.

• Gain hands-on experience with the lab component including cable prep, cleaning, termination, splicing, testing, and safety.

• Taught by an industry expert with 25 years of experience in the fiber optic/low voltage field.
