Learn fiber optic basics, OSHA 10 training, fiber optic networks and components, installation and testing, fiber cable types, and what structured cabling is and how it is used.
Students will be able to take the CFOT (Certified Fiber Optic Technician) test to become FOA-certified fiber optic technicians.
Gain hands-on experience in the lab including cable prep, cleaning, termination, splicing, testing, and safety.
As one of only five FOA-approved training Programs in the state, we adhere to the high standards and curriculum guidelines set by the Fiber Optic Association.
