In keeping with MACLEA tradition, graduates who had already secured employment were pinned by officials from their respective departments, symbolizing their official entry into the line of duty.

Since 1994, the Mineral Area College Law Enforcement Academy has been a cornerstone of regional public safety training. The POST-accredited program combines classroom instruction with intense physical training and live-action exercises to ensure recruits perform at the highest level of competency.
