All of the programs in the MAC Technology Department allow students to either specialize in a particular category, such as Electrical/Electronics or Engineering Technology – Design/Drafting, or find a discipline that is more general like Industrial Maintenance. A general focus covers a number of different disciplines or a wide variety of topics.

An 80,500-square-foot training facility to help Mineral Area College meet the demands of area employers and provide students with opportunities to receive specialized, technical skills training to secure well-paying jobs close to home.

Project Lead the Way

The foundation of Project Lead the Way, a national student organization serving high school and community college students, is to prep students to be more successful once they enter a university engineering program through a comprehensive engineering curriculum.

SkillsUSA

SkillsUSA is a program that helps students develop soft skills valuable in the industry, leadership qualities, and confidence in their skills overall. This is through opportunities provided in the program, like taking on leadership roles on committees and competing in national competitions.
