New Agreement Streamlines Process to Receive Drury University Law Enforcement Degree

Drury University and Mineral Area College have partnered to form a new agreement that will allow law enforcement students to pursue their Bachelor degree.

The articulation agreement will help students who have earned Mineral Area College’s Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Criminal Justice-Law Enforcement seamlessly transfer credits and pursue a Bachelor of Science in Law Enforcement from Drury University’s online and evening program, Drury GO, through the College of Continuing Professional Studies

This opportunity is available for all graduates of Mineral Area’s AAS in Criminal Justice, including those who earned the degree through Mineral Area’s partnership with the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

“Graduates of our AAS in Criminal Justice-Law Enforcement program now have a streamlined pathway to a bachelor’s degree at Drury University,” said Mineral Area College President Dr. Joe Gilgour. “We’re proud to have a history of providing quality law enforcement education and are thrilled about the opportunity this agreement provides for our graduates who wish to pursue a four-year degree.”

“At Drury we are excited for this new collaboration and believe it will help more current and prospective law enforcement professionals continue their education,” said Aaron Jones, Interim Executive Vice President for Drury GO. “This partnership comes at a great time, as Drury GO recently unveiled its Badge to Bachelors degree completion initiative for law enforcement professionals, their spouses and dependents.”
